Da qualche tempo, Hello Games sta mandando avanti un suo ARG (Alternate reality game), chiamato Waking Titan. Questa iniziativa consiste nell’inviare un’audio cassetta ad alcuni utenti, questi nastri contengono alcune informazioni che, se interpretate correttamente, avrebbero fornito novità succulente riguardo a No Man’s Sky.
Alcuni utenti hanno concluso la prima delle tre frasi in cui è diviso questo gioco e ottenuto un PDF che anticipa l’arrivo dell’update 1.3 del titolo di Hello Games e dell’introduzione di un “universo familiare“. Di seguito il testo integrale del PDF.
We want to extend our gratitude to everyone who has contributed to the Mercury Subroutine so far. We hope you have enjoyed the successful distribution of 180 Access IDs, and we hope you will also appreciate the other interesting artifacts we have in store for you going forward.
We intend to keep the process alive until the completion of Project Waking Titan in August. It is important to mention that we are very excited by the coming Phases 2 and 3. Input from the Mercury Subroutine will pave the way toward new experiences in version 1.3 of a familiar universe. We look forward to the successful conclusion of this ground-breaking experiment.

Probabilmente dovremo attendere che Waking Titan arrivi alla fase 3 per sapere qualcosa di più, nel frattempo rimaniamo in attesa di comunicati ufficiali. Vi ricordiamo che No Man’s Sky è disponibile per PC e PS4.
